Year in Review

2009 was a year of growth and success for United Hatzalah. It was also a year of accomplishment for those battling the scourge of traffic fatalities. A 22% drop in the amount of traffic fatalities when compared to 2008 is an accomplishment. 2010 is unfortunately not starting off well with 28 fatalities in the first 3 weeks of the year. 

For the 346 people who were killed in 2009 and 27 people in 2010 this is meaningless. For the shattered families and brokenhearted friends they leave behind this is of no consolation. For United Hatzalah this is not acceptable. 

Our ambucycle medics are the elite of United Hatzala's own "special forces" in the battle against road fatalities. In 2010 we want to see an increase of 25 ambucycles (click here for more info) so that we can help turn the tide.
