Dear Friends and Supporters,
It is with extreme sadness that I write to you about yet another terror attack in Israel. This time two couples were shot near the entrance to Kiryat Arba. One couple was aged 25 and the other aged 40. One of the females was pregnant. A United Hatzalah doctor in the area and other medics responded but there was nothing to do because the victims were shot multiple times from close range.
The entire United Hatzalah family mourns the death of these victims and recommits itself to providing the fastest emergency medical response throughout Israel where ever and whenever needed.
Wednesday:
We are outraged by yet another shooting attack.
Location: Near Kochav Hashachar/Rimonim
Type of Attack: Drive-by
Victims: 1 male moderately wounded 1 female lightly wounded
Description: Terrorists in a white Skoda sprayed the Israeli vehicle causing the driver to lose control and crash into a wadi. IDF in pursuit of the terrorists in the Skoda, numerous United Hatzalah medics battled the absolute darkness and fear of additional attackers to reach the 2 victims. As noted one in serious condition and 1 light to moderate. United Hatzalah medics treated the victims in the ambulances on the way the Shaarei Tzeddek Hospital.
Kudos to our medics in the Binyamin region for their speedy and brave response. Bulletproof armor will be distributed to volunteers in the highest risk areas. Donations of more armor would be most appreciated.
